Bako Sahakyan hosts EP members

President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan on Saturday received a delegation of European Parliament members from countries across the continent of Europe and the United Kingdom.

According to a press release by the NKR Presidential Press Office, the meeting focused on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, regional developments and bilateral relations.

The president stressed the importance of developing relations with different countries and organizations, considering it useful from the geopolitical perspectives and in the context of Armenia-Diaspora relations.

The meeting was also attended by Arthur Tovmasyan, the NKR National Assembly’s vice-speaker, Tevan Poghosyan, a lawmaker of the Armenia-based Heritage party, Eduardo Lorenzo Ochoa, the director of the European Friends of Armenia, and other officials.
