  • European Green Party Adopts Resolution on Armenian Genocide

    A resolution on the Armenian Genocide has been adopted by a large majority at the 23rd European Green Party Council in Lyon. The text acknowledges that the Ottoman Empire perpetrated Genocide against the Armenian people. It also calls on Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide and work towards reconciliation with the Armenia and its people.

  • European Friends of Armenia publishes paper on European values and the Syrian exodus

    European Friends of Armenia published a paper which analyses the response of the European Union, Armenia and countries in the Middle East to the Syrian refugee crisis. The study shows that by basing its approach on solidarity Armenia has demonstrated it truly does embody European values.

  • MEP Charles Tannock asks Federica Mogherini about ceasefire violations

    Dr Charles Tannock, ECR group coordinator in the Foreign Affairs committee of the European Parliament, has tabled a priority question to the High Representative and Vice-president of the European Commission about the recent military escalation in the South Caucasus. The violence has resulted in the death of three Armenian civilians and has since extended to the Nagorno-Karabakh line of contact, killing soldiers from both sides.
